KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 — Malindo Air has launched its 2016’s second service from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong which will boost its presence in the robust Asian market. In a statement here today, Malindo Air said the daily services to Hong Kong marked its second destination in China after Sanya in Hainan Province.

“The introductory fare for the new route starts from RM299 for Economy Class and RM669 for Business Class one-way all inclusive. All fares include perks such as free baggage allowance, in-flight entertainment, a meal and light refreshments,” it said.

Chief Executive Officer, Chandran Rama Muthy, said the airline expected an upsurge in arrivals from Hong Kong with the new service. With 1,134 seats per week now available, this could amount to about 59,000 Chinese per month from Southern China taking advantage of the new flights to Kuala Lumpur.
