In-Flight Safety

What you need to know about security, comfort and safety in the aircraft.

Mobile Phones
All mobile phones, radio and remote-controlled toys should be turned off as these items might interfere with navigational and communication equipment on the aircraft.

No Smoking
Most of the airline flights are non-smoking flights. This includes traditional and electronic cigarette. Tampering with disabling or destroying the smoke detector in lavatories is prohibited by law.

E-cigarette Device
For the safety transport, the batteries from e-cigarette or vapers must be detached from the device and stored in hand carry separately. Other spare batteries and re-charging of the device during flight are strictly prohibited.

Dangerous Items
Flammable goods, explosives and corrosion items like firecrackers, wet cell batteries and other item containing materials like gas cylinders and paint are not allowed on board.

Life Vest
The life vest is an important safety equipment in the aircraft for emergency conditions on water. Passengers are not allowed to remove the life vest from the aircraft and legal actions would be taken against passengers who do so.

Safety Priority
Seat belts should always be fastened during take-off and landing. It is recommended to keep your seat belts fastened throughout the flight.
All cabin luggage must be stored in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you.
Pay attention to the safety demonstration and instructions given by the cabin crew.
Please read the safety instruction card that can be found in your seat pocket for further understanding. From the card, you will be able to determine the locations of the emergency exits and the life vest.

Baggage
Any sharp items or objects should be placed in the check-in luggage and is not recommended to be carried in the cabin luggage. All valuables are highly recommended to be carried in the hand carry.

Carry on
Each passenger is allowed to carry one piece of hand carry not exceeding 30cm x 40cm x 20cm in size, up to 7kg in weight.
